Excellent article and here's why

I thought this was an excellent article because it makes its point so clearly and simply, and it is something that really needs to be said. I think Mr. Pipes is a good person to make this point because no one can doubt his commitment to the truth and to supporting the West against terrorism. The truth is that Islam can become whatever it wants to be, and that the doctrinal truth will be there to support a peaceful Islam and peaceful Islamic people as much as anything else more violent and warlike. Pipes makes this point in an elegant and difficult to refute manner in this article.
