Militant Islam is Islam

Mr. Pipes makes the statement that "mild" Islam has existed for 14 centuries and "militant" Islam has existed for past century. History shows the opposite to be true. Islam has been the same "militant" Islam for the past 14 centuries up until the Armenian Genocide when Muslims marched to their deaths over a million Christians. That's when Islamic countries started to want to be more secular. The Muslim Brotherhood and "militant" Islam is simple going back to their roots. As always the recommendation is to read the Quran. The intolerance of Christians and Jews starts on page 1.
