i am a troubled muslim

the peaceful muslims of this world read surah 9 and please explain to me how islam is not a religion of hatred and violence. anyone who has read this surah and is a muslim please explain to me. i believe in allah but those who say islam is not violent must be wrong. if not please come forth with an answer.

only muslim please (not that i am rasict and do not care for what non-believers say but i just would like to hear a "peaceful" muslims view who thinks islam does not teach violence" if you are of this nature come forth, for i need answers!
