The title is deceiving

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Submitted by F Shawki (United States), Aug 1, 2002 at 09:26

The title of your article is wrong and deceiving to your readers. Islam has a lot verses againist non moslems and not only 2 verses. The spirit of islam is to expand and force the people to become moslims by all means incluling killing and heavy taxes. The problem with the west and America is that the people here do not want to see the truth. September 11 happened and the people still defending islam.

I was talking to a Jewish man who was defending islam and he told me that islam did not say kill the christians or jewish but the unbelievers. When I ask him why islam wants to kill the unbelievers he could not answer as if the " Kafer" has no right to live. The same thing happened here in America when the christians are killed in Egypt, Sudan, Indonesia, and so many moslem countries America does not think why? Look around you and you find the truth. Egypt was a christian country before and now it is a moslem one by force. You can not preach any other religion in a moslem country. Why? In Egypt the newspaper advertisements for jobs say "only moslems can apply".

You are dreaming when you talk about moderate islam. There is no one. May be you have met some moslems who either lying about islam to defend it or do not know anything about koran. Even if things look calm it will not be calm for long. Look what is happening in israel. It is a religious war and it will never end.

The radical moslems whom you talked about are the real moslems who know islam. Islam is in a war always with non moslems and expansion is one their main purose.
I wish America would wake up before it is too late as I hear about European countries...
