Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Submitted by sufin (United States), Aug 9, 2002 at 09:08

dear mr pipes,

please note that your ideas of islam needing to go through a process of modernisation on enlightenment is exactly what the murdered dutch politician pim fortuyn has been saying.

he was wrongly portrayed as neo-fascist, but just said things all common sense people know instictively to be true.

check out some of his writings, including a book written to commemorate the 50th independence day of the state of israel, titled israel: 50 years, how much longer?

thanks you
