Islam and Power of Association

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Submitted by Sep (Malaysia), Nov 5, 2011 at 00:04

"The greatest triumph for Evil is making us believe that Evil doesn't exist" - That quote was stated by an actor (who played a priest) in the movie "End of Days". Unfortunately for us, it holds truth with Islam.

Islamic people have divided themselves into two category - the fanatics and the seculars but do not make mistake into believing that the seculars are any different. They are out to convert you, except their methods are more "softer" in nature. One could wonder if Islam is truly so Evil, how come no one have recognice it sooner. The answer for this is, Islamic people have been associating Islam with other religions (namely Judaism and Christianity) for the past 1,000 years. They survive through the Power of Association.

Basically, it means that as long as Muslims continue to claim that their prophets are the same with the prophets of Jews and Christians (namely Abraham, Moses, Daniel and Jacob) as well as "hold" Jesus with high regards (as a prophet but not as Son of God), Islam is safe from being questioned or even rejected by other religions.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I do not believe I have the right to tell you what you should believe or don't believe. However, I wish to implore you to sit down and think carefully - IS the teaching of Islam corresponds to the values brought to Mankind by the Prophets? Was there any other Prophets before Muhammad who behave like he did? Is Islam truly continuity from the previous teachings?
