Well said, Richard (Islam's Nature and History Speaks For Itself!).

The true face of islam IS NOT found in the western-ised, easy-going, just-minding-my-own-business muslim. The TRUE face of islam is the continuation of the brutal, unforgiving, intolerant, all-conquering islam that began with a man called mohamed who, thrown out of Mecca by the Meccans who would have none of his radical and extremist ideology, then went to Medina and was given support by a group of local thugs. He initially expanded the 'religious' side of his ideology (stealing from Judaism and Christianity especially - and yes, Richard, you're spot on with the Babylonian Moon God: this is seen clearly in the islamic star and crescent moon symbology) in order to provide a platform to give those that are 'converted' a reason to remain so: a faith in a god whose 'prophet' carries a very long and sharp sword, is a very powerful form of mind domination and control. It is from this part of the koranic texts that islamic apologists draw upon the good-old 'religion of peace' card. But the rest, and especially in the hadith, is a history and a remit of enslavement, incest, paedophilia, torture, execution, intolerance and brutality. islam is a sword not a dove of peace. It is a politico-religious war-pig, not a saintly preacher. islamic suicide bombers kill others as they die in the name of islam; christian martyrs are killed by others in the name of Jesus.
