thanks for your response,

It is very important to have a good understanding of islam in this age we live in.

I'm very glad whenever I come across someone who desires to explore the truth.

As you already know, I used to be a moslem, and there is a lot I can tell you about islam. I bet you the rest of the world will continue to wonder what islam is about until the world sees that there are two forms of moslems;

1. those who practice the real islam as stated in the koran and lived by their prophet i.e those we call terrorists or radical islamists eg al Qaeda, Hasbollah Hamas etc. It is important to remember that these people are not crazy, not illiterate nor driven by poverty as some people think. In fact, al Qaeda's # 2 man, is a doctor, and many of those recently captured in the UK. The truth is that, they are inspired by the koran and hadiths. There are hundreds of verses in those books instructing moslems to use violence.

and

2. those who know very little or choose to practice only the portion of islam that will be acceptable to society. Also others hold on to islam just b'cos they were born in a moslem home. These of moslems are usually called moderate moslems, but I call that sort islam cosmetic islam, b'cos it is not the real islam. Their clerics shun questions about those violent surahs, if one keeps asking about those verses, they told they only apply to Mohammed and not all Moslems.

The conclusion is that all curious moslems with guts, either quits islam or join the Jihadist (terrorist) movement.

As you might know, some of these so called moderates with guts eventually gain more understanding of islam and then become terrorist, and then their friends and neighbors will say, he was nice, friendly, a good citizen would, never have suspected that he could be a potential terrorist. Well. I never get surprised, b'cos I know what islam is.

I strongly believe that problem with islam is the koran and hadiths and not really the people ..... just like someone drunk behaving badly, we blame the person, but the real source of the trouble is the alcohol.

I have so much love and respect all human being, but I also know that the choices of some people are wrong and can hurt innocent people.

There is a lot I can tell you about the REAL islam. I have read a lot online, and I strongly believe the best place to learn the truth about islam is this website below. Please visit this site and get back to me to share some of the stuff you discover there. eg. human rights, women rights, democracy, apostasy, martyrdom, sex, loyalty, killing to avoid hell, commands to kill etc
