Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam
in response to reader comment: Islam is an evil religion?

You seem to have a very weak knowledge of history, especially when it comes to Islam. Islam has always been spread through forced conversion, even in Arabia. The Moslems conquered all of North Africa in 640. They had conquered most of West Africa (including Ghana and Mali) by 1076.

If you think I am making this up just Google "Moslem conquest of Africa" like I did and you might learn something. Moslems have always been the biggest slave traders, buying and selling blacks even after they "converted" their slaves to Islam. Again, check the facts on line. Islam is not a fast growing religion because people in America or Europe are converting. It is because Moslems are immigrating there. Islam is ...faith without reason. Islam has stayed stuck in time at about 1000 AD.

At one time Christian practices and those of Islam were nearly identical. There was a time when heretics and non Christians were killed and burned alive, but that stopped for Christianity many hundreds of years ago. It has not stopped for Islam. If you have converted to Islam, what sect? If you are now a Sunni, you'd better be careful around Shi'ites or you might be killed. If you convert, don't change your mind or the followers of the religion of peace may kill you under Sharia law as an apostate. Lastly, history has taught us one very important lesson. When Christianity and the West have been threatened by Moslems, they have killed them and expelled them from their lands. I, for one, will have no problems following this historical dictate.
