Thank you for your time to reply, Peter.

Since all religions have evolved, there is a possibility there is still hope for Islam to evolve to be kinder and gentler religion.

Islamic law which dictated money lending have found a way to work within our modern society to accept interest indirectly. Judiasm evolved away from permitting slavery and I can only hope this will happen within Islam along with the many other changes which need to take place.

Salim Mansur spoke at the University of Toronto Hart House a few years ago,(hosted by the Canadian Coalition for Democracies) He said all other religions have had time to evolve over the 1000's of year...and only Islam is like a teenage Male full of testosterone needing to expel it's energies before it can mature into a thoughtful and grateful man.
