Reasons for the crusadesReader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam Submitted by concerned (Japan), Jun 6, 2008 at 01:28 There is ample evidence as to the cause of the crusades. The people of Europe became tired of the continual incursons of the Muslims into their society and their attempts to put them under Islamic domination. So they decided to fight back and drive them out of their countries. It must have been ok in your eyes for Muslims to invade other free societies and try and force their religion on these countries. Then gripe and complain to be victums when the tables are turned. Typical I'd say. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
