in response to reader comment: Mosques (to preach... Islam)

Firstly I am not muslim, secondly i find your comments quite offensive and have a underlying tone of racism. If people wish to build a place of worship to practice THEIR religion they have every right in doing so regardless if they are, Muslim, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Jews etc.

Also your comments regarding making Britain Britain again, you do know the history of the british empire during its colonial days? How many people did it slaughter most recently when it ruled over india thousands of people died who protested against the rule of the British Raj yet we don't hear any complaints about that? What about being involved in almost wiping a whole civilisation namely the Native Americans?. How about taking part in an illegal war when all the evidence points to the fact the goverment lied to go to war (I don't believe Tony Blair honestly believed WMD's were present in Iraq). Every race, country, religion, what ever you want to call it has a dark past and bad elements with in but its funny how these are forgotten when focus turns to a few people from another race and religion who had a fanatical view of what they believed in to the exteme.

People should really think before posting rubbish like yourself as it will only make an already volatile situation worse. The last thing we need is a race war in Britain and i can honestly see it heading that way. It may start off with hatred towards muslims but it will quickly spread to other non christian religions a majority of those whos followers are not white. (If you think i'm jumping the gun there look how many people got conned into voting George Bush for a second term or the rise of Neo -Nazis through out Europe shows how easy peoples views can be swayed).

Athough i'm not justifying any thing that has happened I no way condone the events of september the 11th or those of the london bombings, I have my own views of islam as there are many sects and whos views and interpretation of the Quran differ from on to the other, not all muslims are bad. Those responsible weren't carrying out acts of God but acts of Evil individuals who have a twisted view of their religion, all though in the case of Osama Bin Ladin i suspect its more of a personal Vendetta and hes using every tool at his disposal namely misguided youths to carry out his acts of terrorism.

In regards to the churches, you do know that belief in Christanity is on the decline, I blame the goverment and capitalism myself. Due the the stupidity of political correctness they have done everything in their power to ensure people don't get offended by anything, one of the casualties has been religion in general; and that we are more focused on wealth then spirituality. Its also common Knowledge that those from Eastern Orgins are far more spiritual and religous then those from the west and this fundamental belief in God has been carried down through generations regardless if your Sikh, Hind, Muslim. We in the west how ever have lost our spirituality and are more focused on making money then anything else.
