A Religion of PeaceReader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam Submitted by Leah (United States), Aug 29, 2006 at 16:10 On Islam being a religion of peace...I do not believe that Islam is evil, but I think the word, "peace" is inaccurate. Islam is a religion of courage, struggle, and justice; but "peace" is too mellow a word to fit Islam. I wouldn't call it a religion of love either. As far as I know, it emphasizes respect rather than love. We don't want to be too literal, but we don't want to be inaccurate, either.
