Misunderstood Extremists?

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam
in response to reader comment: Islam Is Evil

It seems that Mohammed was all for peace & coexistence when he was trying to be accepted in Mecca during his early years. But as he gained power & followers he became more aggressive & violent. All too human if you ask me.

Westerners are ALWAYS shown Mohammed's early teaching as the example of Islam, but if the entire Koran is read you can clearly see that there is little tolerance for non-Islamics. "People Of The Book" are allowed to live under Islamic oppression as second class citizens but ALL others reform or are killed! Murdered! Are you safe? Would they allow you & your family to live?

No this isn't a misundestood religon persecuted because of the acts of a few extremists. Read the Koran, the WHOLE Koran & see for yourself. There is a lot of talk about Islam in western countries these days but few read the source. READ THE KORAN.
