I agree that reliable statistics for Islamic countries will be hard to come by. However, simply googling "domestic violence Bangladesh" yielded me many references for small, qualitative research studies. These studies are a start to quantifying and understanding the issue in various countries and cultures. Interested parties can try searching by inserting the names of their nations of interest.
