If all the world were Islamic ...Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam Submitted by J Hannah (United States), Aug 11, 2002 at 23:37 If Muslims do ultimately succeed in converting the rest of the world to their faith, would that not then mean they would have to give up such concepts as slavery and second-class citizenship status for non-Muslims. Surely it would not be permissible to enslave a fellow Muslim? How would Islam cope with such change? Would new ideas evolve such that it would be acceptable to enslave certain people, even if there were only Muslims on the planet?
