Response to JeanReader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam Submitted by A Canadian (Canada), Sep 28, 2003 at 05:21 I realise this is kind of late to be responding to Jean from October 15, 2002, but anyway:Dear Jean, I too feel sorry for Americans; although mostly for different reasons than yours. First let me please clarify that I believe in the goodness of people, and I do not hate Americans. Here is a movie I would recommend to anyone who is too veiled by American pride to see how and why the rest of the world sees America: "Bowling for Columbine" UPC: 027616882264. For now that is all I'll say about that. Also, this sentence only makes sense to me at best, when I assume you are using a sarcastic tone (but I have a feeling you're not): "why does the whole world not act AS angrily when Islamic terrorists destory countless innocent lives, both American and non American?" One more thing i'd like to add is a request for people to stop using terms like "Islamic terrorists". As someone else mentioned in a previous posting, you can not judge Islam by an act that someone commits while claiming to be a Muslim.
