Our dear Shahriar wrote

If you speak to many Muslims in India I am sure that you will find that I am not alone in the view of the universality of this faith.

But this is not what islam is all about. Islam is the religion of the Arabs, for the Arabs and by the Arabs. Based on Q14:4 the Arab invaders of the civilized world in the late antique period strating in 633CE realized that converts to islam (those that wanted to join the invaders and loot their own people oh and give 1/5 of the loot to Allah and his rasul!) must first abandon their native languages and cultures and become Arabs first and then they can become Muslims and this is how the concept of: al-wali wa al-mawali was developed where a potential convert to islam or mawla must find an Arab wali to sponsor him and then this wannabe Arab becomes an Arab and then and only then he can become Muslim and the looting starts. So much for Arabian imperialism.

I do not study India but I suspect that there were far more potential mawali (by the sheer numbers of people in India) than awlia' that wanted to join in the looting of their own people and this is why those converts to islam that were already brutalized by the likes of Mahmud of Ghazni were able to convert to the religion of the arabs without having to find a wali first and become Arabs and then convert to Islam. But the end result was: converts in India were able to retain their native languages and avoid the humiliation and brutalization by the likes of Mahmud of Ghazni and I do not blame them.

But what is absurd now is that the decendants of such atrocity (like you) tell us that islam is for all. Which is nothing but absurd. And you know what? If you don't see islam as nothing but the ultimate imperialism you are really missing what islam is all about

The concept of believing of One omnipotent who does not have any family, whose scripture confirms the revelations of every previous prophet (in the Abrahamic religions), and which offers a direct/personal relationship with God is appealing, rational, and natural. I am not lying to you when I tell you that of all faith systems in South-Asia,

Well me give you some bad news. Tawheed (unity of Allah) is bogus. There is a story in the sira where we are told that the Jews asked Muhammad: "If Allah created this Creation then who really created Allah?" (see pages 572-573) the old Aristotelian problem. Then who really created your Allah? And do you know what this means? It means that the foundation of the Qur'an which is al-tawheed or the so called untiy of Allah is bogus and you know what? it means that your Allah and his rasul provided a bogus answer to a very profound question. And you know what? It means that Hinduism the religion of your ancestors provide a much more sophisticated answer to such a quesion through the doctrine of Vedanta Dharma (sp?) or the way of the truth. Islam on the other hand tells you that it is all about tawheed that no Muslim can prove because it makes no sense

I have the greatest respect for Hinduism.

And you sould be by reverting to the religion of your ancestors realizing that islam is nothing but Arabian imperialism
