When your ideas are perfect why change?
Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam
Submitted by James Hernon (United Kingdom), Jul 2, 2003 at 22:54You say that Islam is like all pagan religions,
#Hence, Islam, like every pagan religion before it, refused to evolve and in so doing #has been in a death spiral ever since.
A pagan is a kafir. And a Muslim could never be considered a Pagan as a Muslim is submissive to God (Allah).
You say that a Muslim does not have a right to convert to another religion?
#Does a Muslim have a right to convert to another religion?
#No. If said muslim does convert s/he must be executed.
Anyone who wants to, can reject ISLAM if they really want to.
[You are not suposed to kill people, its part of the ten commandments]
But a Muslim who reads the Koran is told in the Koran that if they do so then they will burn in hell forever. Its still up to the individual to believe or disbelieve. If they believe, then they wont reject or convert, especially if you consider the Koran to be perfect then why convert to another religion otherwise why come to ISLAM in the first place as no one can be forced to believe in the Koran or ISLAM in the first place or to accept ISLAM in the first place.
You do know that people were killed in their thousands by other ideological groups for their failures to accept certain ideological ideas like communism for instance and by their definition of communism religion was not even allowed!
#Evil is defined as suppression and oppression of individual rights of self-expression, #and conformity to a maxim that one did not choose but is forced to live under.
#Islam fits the definition, ergo, Islam is evil.
No! evil, is is not just got to do with humans... evil is disobedience to God and failing to live according to the idea of treating your neighbour as you want to be treated and
evil is something that God did not create.
ISLAM is not evil because it shares the same laws as Judaism and Christianity.
So if ISLAM was evil then Christianity and Judaism would also have to be evil.
And therefore is so many people who practice these religions and I mean billions here, then there would surely be by your definition a lot of evil people!
