Is Islam evil?

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Is Islam evil? Consider this: Jesus taught love and forgiveness. He did not kill anyone. He had no wife or girlfriend, and was probably beyond needing sex or intimacy. He had no needs whatsoever, except to share his faith with others. He was the only perfect person in this world. Mohammed, on the other hand, killed numerous people who did not agree with him, and had a dozen wives, 1 of whom was a 8 year old girl. It seems that the areas of the world where the teachings of Jesus are heard, are the areas of progress, and are somewhat peaceful and tolerant. The areas of the world where Jesus' teachings are not heard, or forbidden, are the areas of oppression, intolerance, killing, and backwardness. Women have little choice, other than to be kept ignorant, be married, and produce many children, who will also be indoctrinated into the Islamic hate. Source of manpower for terrorists? Look at the Palestinians. The Christian Palestinians are not firing rockets, machine guns, and doing suicide bombings. Only the Muslim Palestinians are. It is entirely possible that Islam itself is a Satanic deception, and millions of Muslims are believing their way is the right way, yet they are being tricked into hell. Keep in mind, one of the revered symbols in Islam is the Star and Crescent, which is also revered by Satanists.
