Islam is Evil

Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam

Submitted by Paul M. Neville (United States), Jul 30, 2002 at 17:34

Daniel:

I normally agree with almost everything you write, but you are wrong here.

I suggest you read "Why I am Not a Muslim" by Ibn Warraq.

In the Seventh Century Mohammed personally ordered the slaughter and enslavement of the Jews of Medina. After he watched the 800 Jewish men beheaded he raped one of their widows that evening.

According to Warraq, this story is compiled from Muslim sources, which means it is an approved view of the Prophet.

Imagine what kind of religion Christanity would be if Christ had decreed death to all non-believers.
