Reader comment on item: The Evil Isn't Islam
in response to reader comment: reply to Ian

I am supportive of Islam and was born, raised, and currently live in Evansville Indiana. I am friends with Raza, Omar, Mohammed, Krishna, Saleh, and Fahad and am an aquaintence of several other muslims and find them all to be intelligent, peaceful, and upstanding human beings. What I believe seperates them from radical muslims who draw the criticism is the environment in which they were raised. It isn't the religion, it is the corrupted and violent political disaster which is the mid-east, and we westreners cannot claim to be completely free of blame in this mess.
