in response to reader comment: What the Book of Esther can teach us, today

Esther is the embodiment of the hatred for the things of God that started in the garden and continues to this day.
Apologists make a special note that the name of God does not find itself mentioned, yet the hand of the LORD in fulfilling the protection promises of the Children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is manifest in the belief and actions of Mordechai and Esther is unmistakeable.
Israel is targeted by the same mindset of Haman as it is represented by so many who have declared their emnity for the Jewish people in ways that defy any humanity as may be afforded to those who are not Jewish.
But here is truth; the same way the Jewish people were defende then is the same as they will be defended now, by the LORD. It is why the Temple Mount is the focus of so many now as Israel is prepared for redemption. It is the message of Esther, being readied for a repeat of her LORD's promises.
