I also have read the Quran and of course the Gospels plus a lot of other material on Islam. I have come to the same conclusion as you have via seperate independent analysis.

If Islam is true, Christianity is false, and of course the opposite is true. I believe that Islam is a lie largely because it acknowledges Jesus as a prophet, not the Son of God as Jesus Himself stated in the Gospels, and the Quran gives no credence to Jesus' message of love and forgiveness, even forgive one's enemies versus Muhammad's violent statements against those not accepting his religion. Jesus said in the Gospels that Satan was the father of all lies. For this reason, I believe that Muhammad did have a supernatural vision or encounter, but that it was from Satan (as he first thought), not Gabriel. I make the statement that I believe he had a supernatural vision because of the intensity and zealotry that he pursued his religion. Of course, some of the personal revelations that allowed him to satisfy his lust or anger could have come from within him since the devil had planted the seed in his heart.

I have some concern that the anti-Christ mentioned in Daniel and Revelations may come from this growing tide of resurgence within Islam. I believe we have to fight Islamization with information and confront it as elements within it try to subvert our Constitution and Democracy (as we did Hitler and Communism). If this is fulfilment of God's prophesy, then non Muslims are in for some serious persecution. Those who remain Christian will suffer the greatest but their reward in Heaven will be great as Christ promised. May the Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us.
