So what did we learn from our dear Jon this time? Nothing. Not a thing

>2) My thesis is about informal employment - which wouldn't seem to disqualify people informally employed as garbage workers.

What on earth is "informal employment"? Is this "under the table type of employment"? And why do you have to go to Egypt and not conduct such research in Germany? Oh I forgot you went "out of interest" so you can come back and tell us that all is great in Egypt and islam is the religion of peace (sic)

>What kind of stupid argument is that? But, that wasn't the reason I was in the area, anyway. I was there to check out the church and see the area. Check that under categories iii and iv.
3) Walid's last name is Zaki. Have fun tracking him down
.

Is this his middle name or his last name?

>4) St. Simeon the Tanner is a fairly well-known church (here, check it out: http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/tanner.htm). It is part of a big complex above the Zebbaleen

It is called harat el-zabaleen

>area. If you don't like the name Muqattam ez-Zebbaleen,

No let me repeat one more time: you have Gabal el-Muqattam and harat el-zabaleen. Get it?

>then take it up with Lonely Planet - it's what they call the area where the Zebbaleen live (and my cab driver understood it just fine).

You reference is the "Lonely Planet"? Are you for real?

Egyptians are very kind people and they will never tell you that they do not understand what you are saying ever and you know what? you could have ended in Luxor for all I know

>5) If we're going to get into the transliteration (or lack thereof) of the definite article, then maybe we should bring up your stubborn misspelling of "Burkina Faso" or overuse of the words "and" and "little" - as in "little 'out of interest' little trip". Not that I mind if you have poor English. I'm just saying that if you live in a glass house...

Oh the qash and tibn. No our dear Jon this is not about the English or the German languages. This is about you

And yes my name is mother Teresa and I'm from Berkina Fasso. What is wrong with that? See? fanatsy can be contagious

>6) Thanks for the heads-up about the BBC documentary. I'll check that out

Oh I have a travel book about Germany and I would like to visit Munich would that qualify me as an expert on and what did you call it informal employment in Germany and I promise that i will keep notes and names!
