You know, Joe Lieberman stands behind McCain correcting him when he mixes up Shiites and Sunnis during speeches. I think he needs to stand behind you too. Saddam, despot homocidal maniac that he was, led the only secular government in the middle east. He dressed in Western (Armani) clothing, was allied with and armed by the United States against Iran in the 70's, and most importantly, he hated Al-Qaeda. After 9/11, he would have been a disgusting but effective ally against Al-Qaeda. In fact, he often bragged that he had no Al-Qaeda or religious fanatics in his country. We know this because he probably would have had them killed because he could. It was only after McCain joined with Hillary to authorize Bush's war for "confirmed" weapons of mass destruction, that Saddam lost power, and Al-Qaeda poured into Iraq where they could kill as many Americans as they liked without coming over here. Oh, yes. Tell a friend. George Bush and John McCain brought Al-Qaeda to Iraq. Thanks W. And "we now have honor killings in the US"? This is because Barack Obama is running for president? Duh.

We have always had honor killings as long as the Japanese, Chinese, Indian and middle easteners have been emigrated to this land. Before that, we had lynchings for black men who had the misfortune of living in the same vicinity as a white woman who smelled like sex when her husband came home and she blamed a black man. And now Obama is associated with the "Markist" Che Guevara? Didn't the revolution happen in 1959, two years before Obama's birth? And William Ayers came to fame when Obama was 8 years old living in Hawaii with his white mother and grandparents. Maybe he was driving the get-a-away car then...? PS. The word is Marxist - more evidence that you're not very well read. But it's never to late to learn. Go research all these subjects and respond when you've figured it out. I accept your apology in advance. The More Educated Anne Proud of the US constitution
