Is there a news blackout on Obama's Islamist links and potential leadings?
Reader comment on item: Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam in response to reader comment: There is also the issue of Obama's Islamic cousin, Kenyan opposition leader, Raila Odinga

Apparently Odinga, who considers himself an Anglican, is not only sympathic to muslim causes but is for all practical purposes, an Islamist, who has stated he intends to establish Islamic Sharia courts accross Kenya, a country that is only 10% muslim.
It raises a question for me whether Obama's church which reportedly supports Farrahkan, is also sympathic to Islamists. Obama has been very supportive of Odinga, and I'm very concerned that Obama's Christian beliefs may be similar to his cousin's Odinga. If Obama is a closet Islamist, then its not suprising that he was against the authorization of war with Iraq which he is so proud of and regarded so highly in the Democratic party. As the Senator with the most liberal record in the Senate, its also not suprising he was against the authorization. But does this country really want the #1 most liberal member of the senate, and a potential closet Islamist? He is no doubt in favor of change, and he is a good Harvard lawyer who's adept at advocating a popular position (ie campaigning), but what exactly are the changes he is looking for?
Given that Odinga and Obama are in the news every day, it seems there is a news blackout regarding their relationship, which seems to be both blood, personal, stylistically, and who knows what else?
