Except for these comments by Kevin M., nobody seems to get the importance of this issue.

The facts show us that Barack Hussein Obama's FIRST basic, instinctive set of moral/ethical values were formed from an Islamic perspective. These values for the most part run contrary to our US or Western or Judeo-Christian value system [on which our societies are based]. I would urge readers to check out a few basic Islamic concepts such as 'Taqiyya', 'Dhimmitude', 'Ummah' and 'Sharia' before minimizing the significance of Obama's Islamic environment and teachings during his formative years. (Also, not merely 5 years but the facts show at a minimum the first 10 years of his life and most probably well past that; into puberty.)

Even if Obama in later years decided to convert to Christianity, that doesn't negate the now [ subconcious] early influence of Islam on his psyche.

As a psychotherapist I know the difficulty of changing or modifying one's core/ first learned values; it IS possible to change these but for the most part only after years of intense therapy and-or intense and brutally honest soul-serching. ( Illustration: In Obama's case he would for instance have had to deal with complete psychological rejection of both his father and step father; in essence his "male" side.) I do not know Obama personally , nor have I found any interviews or writings by Obama regarding this subject and I therefore do not know whether he completed such a transformative process succesfully but until I had some kind of confirmation of such I would never trust Obama, when faced with stressful situations, to not instinctively revert to his earliest value-system, i.e. Islamic values. I would never trust Obama to not subconciously identify with and feel kinship with Muslims and Islamic causes even if he professes otherwise.

To ellect a person who's formative years were seeped in Islamic thinking at THIS time in history would be suicidal in my opinion; it would be comparable to ellecting a president of German decent during WW2. The internal conflict such a person would naturally feel would weaken his/ her ability to lead in my opinion.

And this is why this issue should be of vital importance to all US voters.
