Kafur, you have well spotted the indecencies of the Muslim world, and yet you seems to have missed the fact that there will always be good and bad in the actions of humankind. you speak of a war raged by Islam against the civilized world for 1600 years, that world was not as civilized as you may think, during the dark ages when Christianity was ruling with an iron fist, labeling women as witches and burning them, oppressing people who sought knowledge and enlightenment, ordering crusades burning raping massacring populations and forcing the remaining few to convert to Christianity

it was the same story that echoed in northern Europe where the pagans lived, in the middles east where the infidel barbaric Muslims had control over God's Holy Land, and in Spain during the Reconquista, same for the orthodox and same for many other "Heretics". The simple fact is the world without Islam or Christianity or any other religion will not necessarily be be so peaceful, as proven by the history that preceded these religions, we can either continue our generalization and blame approach which will cause many more innocent lives to be lost on all sides, or we can start looking for the real sources of the our problems and we may just start to see that we are all part of it,

we may see that extremism is the cause of decades of western support to local warlords and dictators which took the Muslim people into a modern dark age and that terrorism was established by foolish American foreign policies, we may see that Muslims should blame only themselves for empowering their tyrants over their destiny, and they should have the moral sense to realize that there are better and more humane ways to punish theft than to cut of the hands of the thief. At the end of the day we are all to blame, and the best thing to do is hope for a more peaceful future.
