Leaving religion out of political decisions?

I would agree that generally it is appropriate to leave religion out of politics, but this cannot be the case where Islam is involved Because as the responder states : Islam "does not support religion,culture or government that is not in accordance with the Sharia law", it is imperative that the voter know what the candidate's religious underpinnings are, and what he will promote.

Sharia law is inconsistent with our culture and our Constitution and sad to say, is mired in the middle-ages. Islam's objective is to spread its influence by all means necessary to its success. We deny this at our peril.
