Imdad Ali,

I am shocked to read aggressive and self –interpreted views on Islam by Daniel Redmond. He might not be aware with historical facts and factual realties. Islam restrains from bloodshed and urges Muslims to maintain peace and fighting against those who are creating anarchy in the societies.

Are you claiming that your Prophet Muhammad was not a muslim? All historical sources written by muslims for a muslim audience depict Mohammad as a merciless warlord during the last ten years of his life, his time in Medina.

Please read Life of Muhammad by Ibn Ishaq and translated in English by A. Guillaume. By the way, the book is PRINTED in PAKISTAN. The book paints a horrendous picture of Muhammad. After reading the book, you will certainly leave Islam.

You will find that "creating anarchy in the societies" is interpreted by Muhammad as disbelieving in Allah and his Prophet. It does not mean what people usually think it is. The Quran even states that fitna (often translated as "keeping people away from the path of Allah") is worse than slaughter (2.197 and 217).

Make no mistake, Muhammad started the trouble himself by insulting the mushrikeen in Makkah including their gods/idols and their forefathers. I do not have to tell you what will happen to you when you go to Makkah in 2008 and shout out loud that Allah is a false God and Muhammad is a false prophet. People over there are less tolerant now than in the time of Muhammad. Not one single person among the first muslims was killed when Muhammad was living in Makkah, but you surely will be killed if you do now what Muhammad did then.

The result of 25 years of Prophethood was that no mushrikeen were left, that jews were either killed or deported and christians were deported from what is now West-Saudi-Arabia

Furthermore, it is still not clear who attacked twin towers. Muslims are widely believed behind such terrible incidents, but US media tells a different story.

Bin Laden told that he did it and he seemed to be proud of it as well and millions of muslims were happy. Can you believe that a follower of the religion of peace claims that he killed 3000 people while he did not do it?

Peace, Jan
