Our dear Jon who is clearly another tablighee wrote

>Exactly this kind of comment scares the crap out of me. We are NOT at war with "The Muslims" - there are one billion Muslims in the world and a few million in the US, most of whom live peaceful lives like the majority of Christians in the world.

You are correct we are not at war with "The Muslims" because we are at war with a bad human idea, not unlike communism, called Islam.

However, Islam and Muslims have been at war with the rest of us infidels for the past 1400 years as our lands are supposed to be the house of war "dar al-harb" and the so called God of the universe is supposed to get 1/5 of the loot collected from us infidels (Q8:41). The 9/11 atrocity was no more than another page in the war by muslims against us infidles and you know what? the likes of Muhammad Atta is an example of what a real Muslim is all about and it is to follow his Allah's commands and "qatil fi sabeel Allah" or fight in the casue of Allah those, or non-Muslims, that do not "la yadinuna deeni al-haq" (Q9:29) or those that do not follow the religion of the turth (sic) or Islam and in the process "yuqatiluna fi sabeel allah fayaqtuluna wa yuqtalun" (Q9:111) or those that fight in the cause of Allah and they kill and are killed. Oh and the pagans? your Arabian Allah says to kill them unless they convert to islam (Q9:5) So much for mercy of the so called Arabian God.

>The overwhelming majority of Muslims oppose religiously based violence and practice a monotheistic,

Really? Could you provide us with evidence that Muslims "oppose religiosuly based violence and practice"? and if so then how do you explain why did the muslims in 633CE invade the civilized Middle East and beyond? Your claim is bogus

>Abrahamic religion with a lot of similarities to Christianity (e.g., Jesus is also a prophet in Islam, the moral code is clearly similar).

Christians say that Jesus is a prophet? Are you for real? and where would I find in the Qur'an a saying to the effect that if one slaps you on one cheeck then turn the other cheek and where would I find "render unto ceasar what is ceasar's and render utno God wht is god's"? you are and you must pardon me either a liar or you are ignorant so which one is it?

Oh and the Qur'an a book that you cannot read in Arabic really says that Jesus is both a prophet and a God. If you want to know more just ask and I'm not the poor theologian that wrote this poor literature called the Qur'an

>Killing of innocents (including women and children) is strictly forbidden in Islam and those Muslims who commit acts of terror are defying their religion.

Really? then how do you explain Q9:5 and how do you explain Q9:111 and where would I find in either aya the following:

Qatl al-bari' wa al-nisaa' wa al-awlad muharam khalis fi al-islam wa ina al-muslimeen al-ladhina yartakibu 3amaliyat al-irhab fa inahuma yatahadu dinahum

And the above is a translation for your bogus claim. So where would I find such saying in the Qur'an? And you know what? It seems that the likes of Mohammad Atta the psycopath was indeed following your Allah's commands. Do you think that he is now in your Allah's little heaven enjoying the boys of Allah's heaven as you see he was not really into virgins

>If all you know about Islam is what you read about violent attacks in the newspaper, this is a sad state of affairs.

Let me see: I learn about Islam by reading the primary sources of islam in Arabic. Is this enough?

>Imagine if in another country, a Muslim knew only about Christians what they saw of US soldiers at Abu Ghraib? Would they conclude that Christianity is a violent religion which must be destroyed?

Bogus. No American in sane mind would tell you that the invasion of Iraq is in the name of the God of the Christians and that Jesus would get 1/5 of the loot collected from the Iraqis.

Islam? that is a different story. Your prophet was no more than a celebrated warlord and caravan raider , oh and child molester too, that had no hesitation in killing Jews or killing a female poet who had no like for him and 80 million Hindus, your ancestors our dear Jon (sic), oh did I just call you a Paki?, were killed in the biggest genocide and this crime was in the name of your Allah. Shame

> Would they seek to get Christians out of their country?

Bogus analogy.

> In some ways, this is happening in Iraq (Christians, who have lived alongside Muslims for over a thousand years, are increasingly being targeted). It just shows how dangerous such religious intolerance is.

Oh blaming the victims again. If it is up to Muslims they would rather see Christians either converting to Islam or leaving Iraq and it has nothiong to do with the American invasion of Iraq!

>(By the way, in many other majority Muslim countries, like Egypt, Muslims and Christians live together peacefully without major incident).

Really? then how do you explain such incidents as the recent attack on a monastery in Upper Egpt or the abducting of Coptic girls and raping them and then coverting them to islam? and how do you explain the recent sectarian violence in Alexandira about a year ago? and how do you exlplain the atrocities committed againt the Copts in the village of al-Kasheh (Sp?) in Upper Egypt in the year 2000?

Egyptians are also realizing that things are not right between Muslims and Copts in today's Egypt and now we have the movie "Hassan and Morkos" (2008) about exploring the sectarian violance in Egypt. So you see yor claim here is bogus

>In the US, a country founded on religious freedom and equality, people of all religions have a right to live peacefully.

And they do and just imagine if the 9/11 atrocity would have been committed by let us say Christians in Pakiland. The end result would have been massacres and forced converions of Christians in Pakiland

>The solution to this confrontation between Christians and Muslims isn't to target Muslims, but to strengthen tolerance and show that the US is not fighting Islam, but terror. If we choose to fight Islam, we will be declaring war on a sixth of humanity with horrific consequences for ourselves and the world.

It is not a confrontation between Christians and Muslims as you claim. It is a confrontation between Islam and the rest of humanity be it Hindu, Jewish, Buddhist or atheist.

No the solution is to defeat Islam in the market place of ideas and yes it can be done and if the free world was able to defeat communism then islam can also be defeated

I urge to to abandon Islam and the imerialism of the Arabs and be whole again
