Reader comment on item: Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam
in response to reader comment: An easy TEST !!!

You know I really don't care if Obama is a Muslim or not, but I am a muslim and I wish you offered SOME evidence for anything that you said in your ignorant comment.

To answer your first point: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said it is cool to lie to non-muslims? Here are the exact words of the Prophet as recorded by those around him (translated to English):

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three; whenever he speaks, he tells a lie; whenever he promises, he breaks his promise; if you have trust in him, he proves to be dishonest."

He also said: "Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and uttering bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his (fasting) leaving his food and drink."

And to answer your second point: The quran is filled with errors? That is actually QUITE to the contrary because even until this date science has not found ONE contradiction or error in the quran. To the contrary it has found many things mentioned in the Quran wayyyy before science discovered them (and you say the Quran was written by a man...) For some of these miracles check out: http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/

To answer your third point: Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said the world was flat? Umm.. that's the first time I've ever heard of that. Please back up this statement with a reference. If the Quran was able to make claims like the fact that all the planets and stars follow a certain path and the universe is constantly expanding (discovered very recently) about 1400 years ago without any telescopes or the like, how could it contain as ridiculous of a thing as "the world is flat."

To answer your forth point:
The prophet (pbuh) called black people "raisin heads"? lol. Come on now. Here are the exact words of the Prophet in his last sermon before his death:

"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action." Read the rest of it at http://www.islamworld.net/sermon.html

Now does this really fall in line with your comments? Please educate yourself about Islam before saying anything else.
