Is it that you all afraid of a black man?

Reader comment on item: Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam
in response to reader comment: obama religion

... Obama's name is African and probably existed before Islam ever existed. There have always been a interchange between east Africa and the Middle East. Swahili developed as a language from that interchange. I know how some of you like to think of the African and it irks you when blacks don't fit in the predetermine stereotypes that you formed Still back in your mind is that an black African is a savage and can't possible be the president, because you just know he can't think right and that he'll "f" up. All these other excuses have come easy to you, since you can substitute religion for race, and integrity is a red herring. Because any of you, if pressed could find an issue of integrity, with possibly anyone you have voted for; that is if you have ever voted.

I think this is the reason Colin Powell that didn't run. All the stereotypes about Jamaicans would surface, questions about his US citizenship and attacks on his wife.

What gets me, is that you could go to web site and find what his policies would be as president; then argue against them, than to clutch your purses tighter.
