what's the problem on him being from a muslim background? All the muslim phobia was made for political and economical interests, surrounding Bush desire of power and control.
If you knew the REAL foundations of Islam, (and it is not what a few people claims to be the pillars of Islam, and are in fact infected by the same power madness of Bush), you would wish that at least 1 % of what it means to be a muslim, would stick with a person who is going to run a country with such an effect on the world, and only that 1% would make you proud.
