Reader comment on item: Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam
in response to reader comment: To Pradeep Mohanty

As a secular state America has no problem with religion presumably. But they did try to impeach president Clinton because he lied. They seemed OK with his impropriety with a White House Aide but had a problem with him lying.

Do they not have a problem with Obama lying? They should have, it is a far more dangerous passtime and has implications in his running the country.

I have seen some video footage of him admitting to being a moslem and saying America has so many moslems living there it is the largest moslem state in the world.

I don't know how truthful it is but the mere fact that he refers to America as a moslem state when patently it is not seems to me to be problematic and a strange remark for an American president to make.

If the video footage is to be believed. Surely just because America has many moslems it is not a moslem state, it is supposed to be a secular state. Is it or is it not?

One other thing I have no clarity on is Jordan was Jordan not created as a Palestinian state when Israel was given nation status. Why is there now another Palestinian state? Also what was Obama's part in this?
