The Question of Obama's Arab Descent

Reader comment on item: Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam
in response to reader comment: Obama - African American or Arab American?

Submitted by PLR (United States), Oct 10, 2008 at 10:59

The question of Obama's father's possible Arab ethnicity may be immaterial in itself, but if it is true that his father was designated "Arab" by ethnictiy in Kenya, then that affects Obama's whole presentation of himself. Since he would undoubtedly have seen or been informed of his father's ID card, it would mean that from the start Obama has knowlingly suppressed this information and that his whole self-presentation in his books and elsewhere has been a lie. This must assuredly affect how he should be seen by the electorate. PLR
