You stated:

This is true because they will believe they could convert him back to Islam.

If memory serves, in Saudi they did give the person the option of converting to Islam. I believe they allowed that for apostate too, at least before they behead them.

And if you really want to argue if a beheading does occur there or not ,go visit "chop chop square" in Riyadh.
