John McCain was born in Coco Solo, Panama on the 29th of August, 1936. If I am wrong, please tell me where he was born. Barack Obama was born in the United States, August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Now of course they are both American citizens. Fortunately for McCain, he had an American parent and therein lies his claim to eligibility for the presidency.

As for Senator Obama, he not only had an American born American citizen parent; Obama was actually a natural born American citizen, born in one of the 50 states. I think you need to review your naturalization study guide again. The fact that you even talk about a candidate's place of birth, Americanism, and identity means you have no valid criticism of Senator Obama nor anything viable to say about McCain.

Ironic that someone with the name Rivera would play identity politics. Shame on you. What's next? the Hispanic governor of New Mexico and former energy secretary and ambassador is not really born in the US and American either?
