Why do you keep harping on this issue, Mr. Pipes?

Although Daniel Pipes's research into Obama's Muslim background is all very interesting, the subtext is quite disturbing - Pipes seems to be suggesting that if Obama is elected president it's going to make angry radical Muslims even more angry because they consider our president an apostate. Is Pipes saying that we should be scared of electing Obama to the presidency because he might make the Islamic extremists who hate the United States hate us even more?

It's all well and good to know just how much exposure to Islam Mr. Obama had as a boy, but is this really relevant to anything apart from the ... angle Pipes seems to be pursuing here?
