Insofar as belief systems are divided into 'Theist" and "Deist", the former being the notion of the deity interacting in the personal life of the individual, and the latter wherein the deity is remote and leaves the affairs of individuals to their own choices, Muslams are, in fact "Atheist". Meaning that the dogma of the Muslams rejects the notion of a personal God. It seems odd to place much credence in those who actively work to deny the notion of "God". To what purpose.?

Study after study has shown that the human person is wired to seek or create mythology of one kind or another to explain their universe. The best we can hope for is to direct that predisposition toward the benefit of the human species. For the most part, the organizing principal of religious belief has produced much more good than harm for the humans, and where we see efforts to suppress or eliminate the need for myth, death and destruction result. It is when we see a body of beliefs ,as with "Islam", which seek to exploit the innate need for myth toward subjugation and exploitation of the human person that we need to resist the entire dogma. We have seen the mythology of Marxism, Nazism, Islam, Facism, seek the same end, subjugation of the masses. All result in the destruction of millions.
