Reader comment on item: Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam
in response to reader comment: WAKE UP!!!

Your comments are right on. I have the same frustration with people who do not seem to understand my concerns about Islam.

The difference is possibly to some extent a bias developed by seeing some so called Christians do hypocritical actions. We are all guilty of some hypocracy against our moral base (if we have one). The standard that Jesus Christ set is difficult to follow at times because of human weaknesses (the command to love one another, forgive seven times seventy, and love even your enemies). I pray daily for all Muslims to come to the light and TRUTH of Jesus Christ. (See Mark Gabriel's (former teacher of Islam in Egypt) 'Jesus versus Muhamad')

The major overriding reason for bashing Christians and not finding fault with Islam is FEAR (in my opinion).

If you bash a Christian and he truly follows Christ's teachings, one does not have to be concerned about bodily harm.

If you make any statement about Islam that Muslims find unacceptable, you can have your throat slit and the Muslim doing so is confident he is following Muhammad's teaching per the Quran (no greater eternal reward than Jihad).

In the end, FEAR will never overcome the TRUTH of Jesus Christ.
