which Christian era?

Reader comment on item: Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam
in response to reader comment: Typical naive, although well-meaning, misunderstanding of a great danger in our times.

All this discussion about killing being part of the Muslim religion is maddening. Just as there have been many who have killed BECAUSE of their interpretation of the Christian bible they are no more mainstream Christians than the Radicals reflect most Muslims or the Koran. And how do you explain Ireland? Both sides are Christians killing each other in the name of religion. What about the Crusades when Christians invaded non Christians killing those who wouldn't convert. One could go on and on with this, there are MANY Christians who have killed on purpose because of the bible (at least in their thoughts). No religion is exempt from fanatics and those who use that religion to defend terrible acts.

An entire country, or religion should not be judged by those few. And for Barak, I am sure there are many of you who were exposed to "bad" influences in your childhood, have those experiences stopped you from as an adult you cannot think for yourself and choose another path?

Just this kind of judgemental rant has been the cause of many problems in all societies. What about "Judge not least ye be judged?"
