Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?
in response to reader comment: Spanky would be my best friend from today !

As I said before. I have a new Medical Doctor who is a Muslim. He tells me stories of his childhood in Uzbekestan and how the Communist Russians persecuted them. He was lucky because His Father was wealthy. His business partner was a Jew who helped his family get out of the country and to America.

That was many years ago. He unconditionally renounces the terrorism that is happening in the Middle east and said he would fear for his life if he ever went back to see his extended family.

The difference is that the Americans went to Afghanistan to get rid of the Taliban and find Osama. Bush screwed up by going into Iraq and making a mockery of our Military and our Country over the whole mess he created. We should have finished the work on Afghanistan and then moved east. My Doctor who has actually become my friend and I have discussions about our religions and we see a common ground in the fact that we all worship the same God. I respect his beliefs and he respects mine.

Too bad the rest of the world doesn't "get it". We agree that Satan has a very srtong hold on Humanity right now. This is also a part of the end times prophesy. Remember one thing though. Satan was created by God and so he will also one day be destroyed by Him. Live and let live. I've heard those words since I was a child. Now more that ever I've come to know what they mean. Terrorists ARE NOT Muslims any more than La Cosa Nostra Mafioso members are Catholics.
