Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?
in response to reader comment: Why Christians hate Muslims.....

Submitted by Catholic & Christian (United States), Feb 21, 2009 at 01:39

I am Christian and proud of it. However, I would and do not presume to judge others and their faith. It seems to me that Muslims and their intolerance of other faiths are the source of hatred for the Islamic faith. You don't see any other faith using children as suicide bombers. What kind of human being would do that. Even Christians have a limit to the number of times they will turn the other cheek. If muslims choose to be intolerant of others, I say it is time to stand up and fight. I would be ashamed to be a member of a faith that values life so little.
