BAN Militant Islam!

Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?

I narrowly missed one of the London bombs at Liverpool Street, by just 24 hours. A friend of mine's wife missed Edgware Road bomb by a mere 5 minutes as she went to work in South Kensington. It's clear what political Islam teaches: Don't be afraid of police, authorities, law, politicians or death. Suicide bombers have no fear of any of these. Therefore, we WILL see many more bombs. A suicide bomber (if he suceeeds in killing him / herself) gets NO punishment (death is not a punishment - death doesn't hurt). The only way to rid this problem and all its supporters is to ban militant Islam. Close all extremist mosques. Make it illegal to practice this ideology in our western countries and ensure that the punishment for practicing such barbaric religion is SEVERE and I mean SEVERE - jail sentences do very little except cost the tax payer! Heavy floggings with a bull whip might teach them something - Pain breeds fear. In many Middle Eastern countries the practice of Christianity is banned and is severely punished. Fair is fair. What we can't do in their countries, they must not be allowed to do in ours. Western politicians and leaders are weak. I will NEVER vote for Blair or any other mainstream party again and I can NOT see eye to eye with Bush. The only politician that ever spoke any sense was Enoch Powell - Everything he said in the sixties has become true. Our country (the UK) is destroyed by bloody asylum seekers and illegal immigrants - many of whom are pure bred liars and con their way into our countries in order to hurt us. Every one of these should be sent back to their own country. Let them sort their own problems out - !
