Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?
in response to reader comment: Exactly

But it is Muslims who are destroying this world bit by bit. ... America isn't trying to make anybody like them. It just happens that most people envy our way of life and try to imitate it. Look at Japan and China. They are more Westernized than ever. The USA didn't make them that way. They like what they see and they imitate it. We are trying to get a democracy going in Iraq with great difficulty. I believe that even if it does work the Iraqis will eventually turn on us and we'll end up wiping them out.

That unfortunately is the fate of the whole Middle East if they don't get their act togther and start behaving like civilized Human Beings. Chanting "Death to America"! and all of the other nonsense that these morons spew does not scare us.... The time has come to see if they can live in harmony with the rest of the world. Because if they can't they will cease to exist. That is something that THEY should be worrying about. The West will NOT be defeated by Arabs and Muslims in particular.
