Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?
in response to reader comment: Future?

... I'm a christian but I think its fairly nice to say that I prefer to be called M. Rishad DCruz. Not brown Indian christian. Only god knows how many of us are there. What kind of a label is that? And have the radical muslims out there converted you into a white american radical christian? Do you even know the scale of genocide?

World wars will never happen again, because believe it or not there are a quite a number of intelligencia alive today and we all know there's much at stake. As jesus said, "turn the other cheek" and "forgive him 7 time seven". peace is the only way forward my fundamentalist friend. dont call yourself a christian if you see war as the only way forward. and as for an exodus of muslims, thats plain stupid for the want of a better word. this is our planet all religions. Maybe certain societies will ostricize muslims because they cannot see that all muslims dont blow themselves up. You are in no position to judge the entire population by the acts of a few.

Analogically if a few priests in our church are homosexuals does that make christianity a big mardi gras? And finally the only way people can respond and change is through talks and non violence. Nothing ever came out of violence hmmm?.By you saying stop now. Does not help! Advise, help, discuss, bounce ideas off each other and go home a little more educated. as i said in a previous article, moderates must be more outspoken, for it is YOU who understand Islam as a religion of non violence, if it is. young muslims are being brainwashed and desperately need guidance.
