Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?
in response to reader comment: Muslims in Sweden

Submitted by Sakina (Canada), Dec 18, 2006 at 23:04

well, i am muslim myself.. although i was born in canada. of course that's my religion not my nationality, but my background is african.. i was wondering if i'd be accepted in sweden if i come like i am here in canada. and by the way.. what your government needs to do, in my opinion, is get a translator and tell everyone the situation (i mean the arabs) that they are causing, and not to threaten them because they will take it offensively. they will think you are threatening them.... they already feel like outcasts. so integrating them would be the best.. as peacefully as possible...

thats my opinion.. canada is pretty open about different religions and cultures so i dunno....
