Any Truth would and should be able to stand inspection and research; otherwise it is a lie no matter how one can qualify it.

Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?

Our Muslim brothers have through out history sought truth in Science and Mathmatics and they are to be commended on it; however, they were forbidden from seeking the ultimate truth of disecting and scientifically and historically begin to understand Islam.

If any reasonable person were to study, compare historical notes, and put Islam into the academic scrutny arena (just like all religions have been through), then it would not hold any merit.

If you say that if you question the Koran then you must die; then, why should anyone in his or her right mind cling to a fear based religion.

There are two poles, one is love and the other is fear (hate comes from fear). Why fear God for he loves us just as a Parent unconditionally love their child. Think about it folks, but think from an open heart full of love and forgiveness.

Islam can be defended by many, and in many ways; however, it can not be defended when you speak of love, forgiveness, historical accuracy, historical legitimacy, and practicality. Islam if fear based and is seeking world domination, and the rest of the world that plays the game in a fair manner by giving equal access to all is setting the ground for their own demise. For Islam will never play fair, will always take advantage, and they see it as it is totally legitimate to achieve their goals.

When entering into a contract, one must make sure that the reference values of both parties match; otherwise the contract is abused. Muhamad broke a ten year truce with the Hebrews, Arafat did same with Israel. Please do yourself a favor and read history from various sources NEVER ONE.

God Bless you and keep you in his light of everlasting love.
